Sergeant Marvin "Pete" Mobley
Foundation
Marvin “Pete” Mobley was a trailblazing hero, known as the first Black Law Enforcement officer in Madison County, Florida. A true renaissance man, Pete served as a deputy Sheriff, Police Officer; he worked on assignments with the U.S. Marshal, and FBI agent, a deacon of his church and was also a proud military veteran. Beyond law enforcement, he was a licensed pilot, skilled cowboy, and talented musician who played alongside legends like Ray Charles. Pete dedicated his life to service, breaking racial barriers and uplifting his community with courage, compassion, and integrity. His legacy lives on through the Pete Mobley Foundation, which continues his mission of support, justice, and unity for all.
